We Don't Get What We Don't Ask For
It seems like a simple concept, but if you don’t ask for something - chances are slim you’re going to get it.
How many times have you put something off because you felt you just weren’t ready to do it.
You weren’t prepared enough or you hadn’t done as much research as you might have wanted to. (Ah more research - this is my favorite one - guilty here!)
After talking for a few minutes, she came to realize that our call was exactly what she needed to help her get her mind clear and focus on what her exact steps were to start; something she'd been struggling with and the reason she put off calling me!
One of the biggest reasons we don't move forward in our businesses (and lives really) is because we're not taking the time to actually do the work. We talk about the big picture of what we want to accomplish but when it comes down to it, we drop the ball.
No one is going to say, "Hey, you look like you need a break! Why don't you go home and get some rest."
It's up to you to figure out what you need and then make sure you're getting it.
